Scout conveniently sits in the heart of Oakhurst Village, with its “Main Street, U.S.A.” charm. The restaurant and bar harken a sense of Americana, speaking to nostalgia for idealized small town life and a simpler bygone time. This cultural heritage is closely tied to the fare served, embracing a creative take on American cuisine and crafted cocktails that showcase the use of local and regional products, but also emphasize authenticity, transparency, and quality. These efforts echo Scout’s curious passion for nature and the bounty it has to offer.

dining at scout

We are currently open for Dinner service 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. We are open on Saturday and Sunday mornings for brunch service. Reservations are not mandatory, though strongly encouraged for brunch and dinner services, and can be made through here. We accept walk-ins whenever possible, though priority is always given to guests with reservations. Please call the restaurant to reserve space for parties larger than 6 guests. Parties larger than 12 guests require a special menu and must make arrangements by emailing us at [email protected] or by following the link on our private dining page. We cannot guarantee outdoor seating at any time.

scout at home

Enjoy Scout at home! Your favorites are available for pick-up, as well as limited delivery, during regular dinner service hours. You can place an order online or by calling us at (404) 225-1374. Delivery orders must be placed online.

Please note: If we are busy, to-go orders may take up to an hour or more to prepare and package. If we are extremely busy or short-handed, to-go orders may be suspended, in order to keep the kitchen from becoming overwhelmed. The quality of our guests’ experience is always more important to us than increasing immediate revenue. Our first obligation is to our guests already seated and those with reservations. We certainly do not want to turn away business. However, we would prefer to take great care of the guests already dining or promised a seat, than to stretch ourselves too thin, chasing every possible dollar and thereby diminishing the quality of our offerings to everyone. We truly do not want to take your money if we cannot offer you a great product and experience in return.

Thank you for supporting us! We have the absolute best guests and it is truly a pleasure serving you all. Like everyone, we are doing our best to adapt to this ever-changing world. We will continue to improve and strive to provide something wonderful for our community. We deeply appreciate the incredible love and understanding that you, our guests, continue to show us. Through everything, your support and goodwill have sustained us and buoyed our spirits. Thank you, always, from the entire Scout family.
